Help
You've got a deadline to beat then your computer starts playing up. Frustrating, isn't it? So when things go wrong - who do you call to come in and solve your problems?
If you already have a good relationship with a competent source of Mac expertise, then there is no need to read any further. However, if you are looking for an alternative, then you are in the right place.
I have over fourteen years of experience solving problems for businesses like yours. I have particularly strong analytical skills which I apply to turn around computer problems in the minimum of time.
Call me when you're having trouble with workstations, servers, laptops, software or networks.
Do I make night calls? Yes - weekends and bank holidays too.
Installation and configuration of new equipment and software - who is going to make it happen? It might be you, but you're too busy taking care of other business. It could be a member of staff. But do they have the expertise? Perhaps they themselves are too busy with regular business activities.
Strong organisation, contacts, communication and good follow through is the key. Your project could involve network design, installation, linking to another computer platform or upgrading system software on an entire network. I have a long CV of successfully completed Mac and cross platform technology projects.
I have a process that I go through with you at the outset to identify existing resources, your objectives (i.e. discover why you want to do this), your expectations, budget and time frames. I conduct any necessary research, identify products and suppliers, and prepare a complete proposal including bill of materials and time lines. Finally, I present to you for comment, amendment and approval.
Call me today to discuss how we can move that important project to the front of the queue.
Advice
The sales representative says you need a particular product but you are unsure if the recommended item really meets your needs. You've read the magazines but but find the jargon confusing. So where do you turn for independent advice? A bewildering array of choices faces today's buyer of computer related products. I can help you make technology planning and purchasing decisions based on achieving your business objectives.
My product is my honest opinion, knowledge and experience. My fees are usually more than offset by the savings on staff or your own time not to mention the size of your dealers invoice. I have been known to actually recommend buying - nothing.
I don't sell computers or peripherals or software except the software I write myself. Nor do I accept commissions or other incentives from resellers or ISPs. That way my clients can accept my advice knowing that I have no vested interest in any purchase they might make.
Training & Coaching
One to One customised tuition is my speciality. I have a long list of satisfied clients who have used me either to get themselves started, to learn specific tasks or for ongoing training sessions. Each session is tailored to meet your level of expertise and specific needs.
I have trained receptionists and directors, designers and writers. In each case I have considered their experience level with the technology and how it applies to their work.
I believe that technology can contribute greatly to increasing an employee's productivity, however it often takes an outsider to recognise the potential opportunities.
A TIP: Prepay me for training sessions and save! As an example: a two hour training session under the prepay plan is £60; whereas paid on a Net 30 invoice - £95.
