Your family's computer is playing up, you've searched high and low on Google for answers, combed Apple's web site but can't decipher all that jargon and you just want someone who knows what they're doing to come in and fix it.
You've come to the right place. I will make your problems go away so you can get back to having fun doing all those things you like to do with your Mac.
I install printers, scanners, software, set-up brand new systems, connect them to the internet - either wired or WiFi (wireless), fix the struggling ones and all with efficiency, a smile and good humour.
I am, of course, available to help evenings and weekends as well as during regular business hours.
Advice
You're trying to decide between model A or Model B, the sales assistant in the shop seems more interested in getting your credit card swiped and you back out the door with your purchase. OR - you think there may be some life left in 'old reliable' but have been wondering about a replacement. The trouble is ... you aren't certain if now is the right time. Is there something new coming that maybe you should wait for? A bewildering array of choices faces today's buyer of computer related products. For example, your hard disk is almost full - does that mean you need to buy a whole new computer? The answer is - probably not as there are options to add on an external unit, replace the existing one with a higher capacity or maybe simply clean up the old drive and backup old data to a CD. Too often, the temptation of those behind the counter is to 'sell you something' - but is that always necessary?
I have no axe to grind, commissions to earn or quotas to meet and only my honest opinion and experience to offer. Call me for advice BEFORE you buy.
Training
One to One customised tuition is my speciality. I have a long list of satisfied clients who have used me either to get themselves started, to learn specific tasks or for ongoing training sessions. Each session is tailored to meet your level of expertise and specific needs.
To use a well known expression, I have an excellent 'bedside manner'. I am patient, have a great sense of humour and haven't forgotten the first time I was confronted with one of those infernal computers and had to figure out how to get it to do things.
TIP:
Prepay me for training sessions and save! As an example: a two hour training session under the prepay plan is £60; whereas paid at the end of the session - £85.
